Sundal(Garbanzo beans tossed in grated coconut).

Sundal is one of the easiest prasadam/snack which you can make in 10 mts. A nutritious snack too. Try this easy dish either as snack or for prasadam.


Ingredients:


1 cup of Garbanzo beans (Soaked over night)
2-3 green chillies
2-3 red chilies
salt to taste
1tsp of oil
1tsp mustard seeds
1tbsp cumin seeds
1/4 cup fresh grated coconut
1tbsp urad dal

Preparation:

Cook chana/garbanzo beans in cooker for 1 whistle. In a pan add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, red chilies, urad dal. Once the mustard seeds starts popping add the chana/beans ,salt,slit green chilies. Cook for 2 more mts and add the grated coconut and mix it. Keep it for 2 more mts and turn off the heat.

The easiest and tastiest Sundal is ready to be served.
